Think the Premier League has a bloody cheek , shows exactly what they think of the 2 lower divisions, NOTHING.

Part of me is intruiged about playing a Man U reserve side but imagine Wembley if they got to the final with a West Brom reserve side. The only trophy we are likely to win gone and Wembley 1/10th full! What a stupid idea. Loaning players out to lower league sides is no good but playing a couple of games against them will be more beneficial - bonkers.

Most fans feel the addition of Premier League academy sides to the EFL Trophy "undermines the integrity of the competition", according to The Football Supporters' Federation.
