Paul Scally is backing Peter Taylor despite our six match run without a win in the league.

Is this the dreaded vote of confidence that gives manager's 2-3 more matches in the hope that things improve ??? Will Paul Scally back Peter Taylor with more funds to strengthen the squad to try and turn our season around ??? or will Paul Scally back Peter Taylor 100% having given Peter Taylor a two year contract in the summer and want some stability at the football club ???

No,this is the authentic' PT is cheap and desperate for a job so he won't give me any bother about buying players' support.

Apparently the press conference after Scunthorpe was very horrid and was delayed after a lengthy meeting with Scally. The rhetoric was that Scally ALWAYS meets the manager after the game so this was nothing new but he was in there much longer than usual. I think he has been given a set number of games to pick up results. After all, the results allowed Scally to get rid of Martin Allen but it created a benchmark that would be hard to ignore if we continue to follow the same pattern.

Hi Dee Hi, fly on the wall here, conversation went like this, Scally........Peter old darling what the ****ing hell are you doing ?? Don't answer that, look here ,these are our next five games in case you have not seen the fixture list, Crawley I demand 3 points from that game, Fleetwood, think we might call FA the day before and tell them everyone has the flu, Orient, me and Mrs S could beat them with one leg tied behind our asses, 3 points, Bradford away at least a point old Darling, and then Port Vale at home (OH GOD NOT Port Vale again) 3 points, so basically a total of 10 points out of the next 5 games and Mrs S will buy you a nice Christmas present, anything lesss than that and I am going to be on a train to Scotland to find me the next Sir Alex , I've had enough of the retreads like you we run through here year after year.
At this time PT woke up and said I agree , I agree Hessy should be the new manager and handed over the reigns. It was only a good backhander by Mrs S, that bought him to his senses and he wandered off to the press conference mumbling something about how he once managed an England Under 21 team,so none of this was his fault.

I think Scally will back Taylor if the results happen, but if we lose our next two games he may take action.I think results and low crowds are what would do it.I`m hoping we can turn it around this Saturday.
