Gillingham January Transfer Rumour Thread

Postby fan_of_mulligan » Mon Dec 29, 2014 12:55 pm

As The January Transfer Window is just days a way, I thought having one thread on the forum focused on rumours and completed transfers in The January Transfer Window would be a good idea......

This is a 100% rumour from myself and there is no reliability or credibility to the following rumour......

I wonder if Gillingham would do a swap deal with AFC Wimbledon which see's Danny Kedwell leave Gillingham for AFC Wimbledon and Adebayo Akinfenwa coming back to Gillingham ???

Now I am not saying this would happen, but it would a bold move from Peter Taylor if he actually did this, it would a acknowledgment on Peter Taylor's part as Peter Taylor would basically be saying I released the wrong striker back in July - and there have been constant rumours about Danny Kedwell leaving Gillingham for the past 5-6 weeks now.

We have been crying out for a target-man / centre forward who can hold the ball up, flick the ball on, score and create goals and no-one does this better then Adebayo Akinfenwa, also I think we will see Cody McDonald go on a goal-scoring run knowing that Adebayo Akinfenwa is back because these two have such a understanding between the two of them.

Again, I have only made this rumour up myself, but I wonder what everyone on here thinks about my suggested rumour ???

Best thing Taylor could do, well that and him having the decency to resign. Of course he could always call Barnet and ask that bum of a no good manger they have if John Akinde is for sale ,or failing that ask him how to put a winning team on the pitch.
