Lets anticipate an exciting summer as the alternative is far too regular and boring. I'll start off the good news (factually correct and not made up please).

STUART NELSON HAS SIGNED A TWO-YEAR DEAL!!!! Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!

Another for me is the MEMS deal for another four years. Good that we aren't scratching around in July trying to find a sponsor delaying the shirt sales into October as we must sell loads over the summer. Sounds a big deal but not sure how it stacks up really but good news all the same.

Probably the best news today is that Kedwell has signed a two year deal. Other than a big new signing that has to be the news that will make most punch the air!

Great news about Kedwell signing. It was important that we tied down Nelson and Kedwell.I don't think Bayo will stay.

Port Vale`s Doug Loft is in talks with Gills about a possible move.Loft is a Kent lad and apparently wants a move back home.He can play in three different positions LB,CM,and LM.Loft is highly rated by Vale fans, and he has been their Captain for a few years.I think Loft would be a great signing for us.

It's like a nightmare, where you are falling from a building you wake up so relieved it was not real only to go back to sleep and start the same dream again.
For goodness sake Andy H go and manage a Blue Square team, and get out of Scally's shadow, your beginning to look like lovers.
You were wonderful when you were here, we appreciate everything you ever did for GFC, but you have jumped the shark, time to move on, the present Manger does not need you looking over his shoulder wondering if a run of bad results gets him fired because your ready to step back into the spot light.

The two New signings are GK Glenn Morris who was at Aldershot last season, and Midfielder Aaron Morris (No relation) from AFC Wimbledon.

Thanks Steve. We need to build up a squad and I guess that what those two will be, don't know much about them at all.

Genuinely taken aback by the Hessy signing. I would never have guessed that but then him and Taylor are quite good friends so it makes sense. Do we still have James Russell at the club? Not sure if he is one that follows Martin Allen around or not but the players are definitely fitter with him on board if only in preventing injuries as most players only lasted 85 minutes it seemed!

Both Morrisisisis seem pretty good pick ups, Aron Morris seems to be a pretty good long term prospect, might just be that good old fashioned center half a team needs. Glenn Morris seems to be the perfect fit, 31 years old and spent a good chunk of his life sitting on the bench waiting to play and has also played behind Nelson before so I think this is a good start to our rebuilding for promotion this coming season. Now lets go find a couple of 20 goals a season players even if we pay them a few bucks more than the going rate.
