The FA have plans to introduce a League 3 that would allow Premier League reserve sides to play "competitive" fixtures and work their way up the divisions to a certain level. As they would bring virtually no supporters, would attract a far smaller home crowd which would in turn create a problem for season ticket prices, this would not only make the games LESS competitive but also cause most clubs to go bust. Those that manage to survive and have spent years getting up to the Football League would get busted down into the non-league.

This is meant to solve the problem of the lack of national success, a problem that has been created from the influx of foreign nationals into the top flight. Plenty of players have come from lower leagues playing matches that really matter to play in the top flight. All these plans would do would be to completely create a game where only the Premier League clubs have any sort of say plus a few of the larger Championship sides. Our game is admired all over the world because of all of the clubs put together. Where else would you see a side like Bristol Rovers lose league status? Where else would you see the third tier watched by more fans than the top flight sides in Belgium or Portugal?

If like me you oppose this, PLEASE sign the petition and pass it every football fan you know!!!

I really don't think the rest of the World in general even knows the English system has anything other than a Premier Division . For years I have thought the Premier clubs should make first and second division clubs their equivalent of baseball's Triple A farm system, sending young up and comers, out of form or rehabilitating players to a team like Gillingham.
I am not a great fan of the " on loan player system", especially having an owner like Scally who appears to have alienated just about every other owner in the whole dam football league. I know it is here to stay I understand that, but I don't really like it , every report I read last year seemed to have "Joe Blow " an on loan player scoring the winning goal against Gillingham.
