Taylor has decided against giving Gary Borrowdale a Contract.Matt Fish is out of the MK Dons game,so Taylor is looking at adding to his RB options.Maybe there will be a loan signing in before Saturday?

I'm very surprised. He looked decent against Ipswich and showed moments of class so, after so long on trial, it does feel odd to release him now when no other club are likely to be able to give him any time to prove his worth! Blackpool are short of a player or 10!

Well that didn`t take long....Borrowdale has joined Greenwich Borough FC of the Southern Counties East League.

He can't be getting paid for that though. He looked good to me so if he plays he would be a star in that league.

Apparently Greenwich are big spenders at that level.

Greenwich Borough have got a lot of money, they have signed Gary Alexandra and they tried to sign Edgar Davids this summer as well so I am sure that Gary Borrowdale has been offered a very good offer.
Greenwich Borough also play at Princes Park (Dartford's Home Stadium) and while Gary Borrowdale is playing in The Southern Counties East League, he will be playing his home games at one of the best football grounds in Non League Football, because I really do like Dartford's Ground.

Where is all their money coming from then? The last time I checked (a couple of years ago) they were getting crowds of something like 100 odd. I can't see how that could tempt the likes of Davids in the slightest! If it is solely self financed you couldn't possibly afford to get that type of player in and instead the norm would be to entice players a couple of divisions above. As they are at level 9 of the pyramid even Conference South should be out of their ability really. I love a team that works their way up the divisions but they sound far too ambitious and that generally ends up in failure 99% of the time.

It helps when you don't have to pay for maintaining the ground or hire the groundsman because Greenwich Borough play at Princes Park which is Dartford's home stadium, interesting that Greenwich Borough were at home to Dartford on Saturday so that must be weird reading The Programme Notes and welcoming Dartford Supporters to Princes Park.
