He has just figured this out, we were there in the Championship, but he could not be bothered to keep us there, he let Hessy bring us back down, and him and Mrs Scally bought racing camels in Dubai instead of players for Gilingham Football Club, his choice not ours.

I don't think we got anywhere near that sum when we were in it though which makes a difference. He can't really say we are in a race to get there as almost every club is - even Fleetwood probably think they are pushing for it when really they have no right to expect that given their rise. We have too many variables that really don't look like happening before we could sustain a club at that level. Having said that, he also mentioned in the article that Yeovil earned enough from their one season to "set them up for the next 4 years". I wonder if he is refering to that more than maintaining that level - dangerous as it can often create a fall that just keeps going!
