OK if I make an appearance? Am bringing a friend who hardly ever comes and has suddenly shown an interest due to the start the team has made. Let's hope he is one of many who may rekindle their affection for the Gills.

Well this is my first Gills post on the new board having just got back from the match. And what a disappointment.Never got going really. We seemed short on ideas and quality-still top but this was a sad way to lose the record. Need to put it behind us. 2 difficult away games to follow.

I suppose we always knew deep down this game would happen. Awful first half and got no help (AGAIN!) from the ref. On the bright side I think we needed this defeat. I have got a little uncomfortable with the propaganda banded about recently, players saying they feel they can go all season unbeaten etc. Whilst it is great to be super positive they needed reminding they are not invincible, so better to lose when 6 points clear.

As for the pub, hopefully we can meet up again soon. We had a 60th birthday we were doing food and setting up the hall so got to the ground later than usual. Still surprised I was allowed out to play at all, not sure it worth all the pleading!!!
