Update on Danny Kedwell's Injury

Important quote from the above article.....

“The decision is, a repair which would be five months, scrape which would be three to five weeks or we are going to train him, which the (medical staff) have asked us to do and see how it reacts. Then we’ll have a look at it.


So far Danny Kedwell has trained with Gillingham this morning but it is a waiting game to find out the seriousness of Danny Kedwell's injury, it seems promising that "The Repair Job" is being ruled out, but if Danny Kedwell is out for five months then we are going to need to sign a striker for five months as Kedwell's replacement - this could rule out the loan market and Peter Taylor might use the additional funds from The Newcastle United Game to offer a striker a contract until January.

Gillingham won’t be in the market for a new striker while Danny Kedwell recovers from a knee operation, despite the fact that Danny Kedwell is going to be out for a month.

Of course not, Mr. Scally announced a mere fifteen minutes before the news came through ,that Mrs. Scally had just received a pay increase for 2014/15, to increase her salary, AND LOW AND BEHOLD, what do you know, for exactly the same amount of money that we got from the Newcastle United game, jjjeeezzz ,WHAT A COINCIDENCE. ?
