He got a lot of stick (or at least Peter Taylor did) when he arrived and it trebled after his own goal at MK Dons! Not sure when the last time a Gills youngster was called up to such squads so those criticisms were wrong. I think he and Egan have started to look very good and it bodes well until he returns to Wolves that is!!

Kortney Hause probably would of been rested for the match against Colchester United in The Football League Trophy but we are defiantly going to miss him for next Saturday's Home Game against Scunthorpe United.

The good news about Kortney Hause's call up to The England Under 20 Side is that Peter Taylor and Gillingham's reputations have improved for giving young players a chance and should Wolves call Kortney Hause back in January then I am sure another youngster (possibly Ryan Inniss) would love to sign for Gillingham on loan and get the opportunity to be called up for The U20 or U21 Home Nation Squads.

Come to Gillingham play under Peter Taylor and get called up to play for young England, if that's what it takes to get top notch young on loan players here then I am all for it.

Kortney Hause put in a excellent performance for The England Under 20's as England beat Germany 1 - 0.

Kortney Hause played in all three group games against Germany, The Netherlands and Turkey for England's Under 20's, and England won the competition as they drew there final group game 1 - 1 against Turkey (Kortney Hause scored for England in this match), Aidy Boothroyd has praised Kortney Hause's performances for The England Under 20's and hopefully Kortney Hause comes back to Gillingham with more confidence and more belief in himself.

Well it is certainly a spring board to cement a first team place at Wolves. And after Welbeck and Sterling making it into the senior England squad so early he has that to aim for as well!

Good on Kortney, his goal and performance should put a spring in his step for his return to Gills.
