Quite a bold statement by the club. Not sure it would do a great deal for attendances being in the Town End but good for families with young children who couldn't afford to go to many games!

I think this is a sensible decision by the Club.I think our attendances will go up,and the fans will be able to decide on the day whether they want to go or not.

Even though we are in League One there isn't many matches on the fixture list that scream out at the casual supporter, Swindon Town and Peterborough United were played on a Tuesday Night and the likes of Scunthorpe United, Yeovil Town, Rochdale, Walsall, Oldham Athletic and Crewe Alexandra are likely to be 5,000 or even under 5,000 attendances.

This is a very northern League One and Malcolm Steadman said to me and Diane that he thinks that outside The Premier League and The Championship that the rest of English Football should be regionalised to north and south to save on traveling costs, but then you would still have long trips to Torquay United, Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City so long away trips will still be happening with that scenario.

Barnsley, Yeovil Town and Doncaster Rovers coming down isn't great for us and Scunthorpe United, Rochdale, Fleetwood Town and Chesterfield getting promotion means that there are fewer Southern Clubs in this division, would be nice to see Charlton Athletic, Norwich City and Ipswich Town get relegated into League One and Portsmouth come up from League Two, but I cannot see that happening.

I am sure that any money we get from doing well from cup competitions will balance out what we might lose on Match Day Price Ticket increases, we also need a cup run to keep the enthusiasm going because promotion / playoffs look beyond us this season and doing well in the cup competitions will keep that excitement going throughout the season.
