I have voted no.Cody is most likely out of the whole squad to nick a goal out of nothing. He just needs better service. He must be frustrated that Bayo has gone and is scoring and setting up goals right left and centre.

He runs about a lot but seems to have more games where he goes missing than ones in which he scores. We need Kedwell back and Norris needs to have a chance in the number 9 role after his goal against Sheffield Utd. Even that might be enough to get his act sharpened or be an impact sub.

Drop the whole bloody team after the debacle against Scunthorpe, including Taylor, there's a reason a manager has 130 clubs in 20 years. Great at looking after an England under 21 squad that plays 5 times a year, that we he can spend 40 weeks a year watching talent from the stands, to old, out of touch with today's players, not aggressive enough, plays not to lose instead of playing to win , that's why we have only scored 12 goals all season.
GFC have a young squad, time to bring in a young manager to look after them, and NO I am not just saying this because were at the bottom of the table, I have said this since the time he was given a new contract after he "saved" us from the drop last year, he is not the man to get Gillingham Football Club promoted, he might save us from the drop, wwoooww hhhooo lucky us.

I start Cody McDonald against Rochdale, but if he cannot play his way out of the poor form he is in at the moment then I would drop Cody McDonald to the bench and start using him as an impact substitute to see if Cody McDonald can score a few goals from the subs bench.
I don't think Danny Kedwell will be fit enough to start against Rochdale and he might play for 20 - 25 minutes at Spotlands, but if Cody McDonald goes another game without scoring - or without contributing much to the team - then I would start looking to use Cody McDonald as an impact sub.

Stats say everything on this subject. In the 4 games he has played since he last scored, he has managed just 1 shot on target but 8 off. Chances are being created for him but he will never score if he doesn't get them on target! I understand strikers go through lean spells but not getting any to test the keeper? Rochdale should be his chance to prove he can keep his place, any other player perhaps we might not be so concerned about but our formations put him as the key goal-scorer in the side.
