The draw has been made for the third round of the cup. Ties will commence at home to Chesterfield on the 20th of December with the following 2 matches on Boxing Day and the 28th of December being the replays. For predictions and full details of the draw as well as results as they occur can be found in the main thread in the cup forum as usual. A summary of the draw is as follows:

Lidbit's still in it, as in Lidbit the guy who by some miracle and the stars aligning knocked me out of the competition , maybe it is Mrs. Lidbit, (poor woman) that makes more sence ?

Why is there a * next to my name for the third round draw ???

The * has been there from the start and denotes a new team that doesn't have a ranking based on their league position in last year's Noircat league.

Yeah to be honest with you I am just amazed at your superior knowledge of all things football. Your like the lovable Ms.Fanny Mulligan on steroids, (oh God there's thought). Of course I never did understand the dam FA CUP game, garawa tried explaining it 50 times but I never did get it,how I am supposed to show my superior talents like wot I have got ,without even picking the teams I don't know, anyway the only saving factor in the whole dam thing is Bunberry didn't beat me,now that I could not live down, being beaten by a dam convict, lol,lol.

Two sides progressed after the Chesterfield defeat. Cadburyman's "6 Pints None the Wiser" knocked out Lady Castlemaine (not very seasonal was it) and the big shock was former league champion Matt Bowles bowing out to Anyone's Guess ranked 60th, 56 places lower.

4 ties will be replayed away at Colchester on Boxing Day with a further two being decided at the Bristol City home match the following Sunday.

The Christmas matches have seen the conclusion of Round 3. 6 sides needed replays with 3 (Sherni, Gold Alone and NS Gills 870) making it through on the home advantage rule after failing to predict any of the 3 matches correctly. The Colchester match saw the first replay where Fan of Mulligan correctly predicted the win and beat Heartagram whilst Roff's Ruffian's disposed of Lidbid. Only one tie was resolved in the second replay with Real Gillingham (me!) correctly predicted the Bristol City loss and knocked out Gravesend Grommitt.

The Quarter Finals starts at home to Swindon, currently scheduled to be the 18th January weather permitting and the draw will be made in the next week.
