I've been a big critic of Cody of late as he looked very short of confidence and not close to scoring. Lately he has been much better and last night looked a COMPLETELY different player! He totally deserves his place in the side but I find myself asking why all his most prolific spells for the club all came after Christmas?????????

I thought Bradley Dack showed a lot of tenacity in Gillingham's Midfield and in any other match I would of given The Man Of The Match Award to Bradley Dack.

But Cody McDonald took both of his goals exceptionally well, especially the second goal which was a sensational and clinical finish, and one Cody McDonald created all by himself.

I even spoke to Scott Wagstaff and a few Bristol City Players after the game and even they were mentioning what a quality player Cody McDonald is for Gillingham.
