We all expected this one though, the only surprise was that he didn't sign for Wimbledon after a great spell there. As he was under contract, is this another one we have written off to get rid of his wages or did we receive a fee? I know the answer really so there must be a plan in place for the side, better happen soon otherwise I might find myself registered tomorrow and playing Saturday!

I think we all thank Barrett for his efforts for the club, especially in our Title winning season.I thought he might have stayed another week with us short on numbers! Barrett has joined a club he loves,so hopefully he will add another promotion to his collection.

Of The Eighteen Man Squad that featured against AFC Wimbledon when Gillingham were crowned League Two Champions, only Stuart Nelson, Leon Legge, Callum Davies and Bradley Dack are still at Gillingham now.

Yeah as Martin was injured for the last few games.
