Betting suspended on the new manager at 12.30 today!

Out of interest does anyone know anyone who actually bets on the next Gills Manger, is betting on managers a big business for the Bookies ??

I personally don`t bet on the Manager, as it is usually a Manager we didn`t expect.

I heard from a source (not inside the club) it was Neil Ardley so got a sneaky fiver on just before they suspended betting!!! I would have expected his announcement by now though.

It probably be Tuesday / Wednesday before we announce who our next manager is going to be.

We know it won't be Shefki Kuqi, as he has been appointed as PK-35 Manager in The Finnish (Ykkönen) First Division.

Neal Ardley ruled himself out a few weeks ago.I have noticed Newport`s form has dipped since Edinburgh became linked.

People ruling themselves out of things always seems to turn out to be the opposite though. A bit like the "Diego Costa is injured" saga we got every week.

Yeah that is true.

Looking at his record at AFC Wimbledon since 2012, what makes this guy such a good candidate for the Gillingham Managers job ?? I swear a win today and I would leave things just like they are till May,then bring someone in after the season ends.

I think there are plenty of managers out there with better credentials than Ardley!
