Justin Edinburgh is struggling to find the best position to play Brennan Dickenson,and Brennan is unsure himself where his best position is.Where would you play him if you were in charge? I would like to see him try and become an out and out winger as he has lots of pace and has the potential to be a good player.

I think it depends on what system or systems that Justin Edinburgh is going to use, and if we're going to continue playing the diamond midfield formation and bring McGlashan on to stretch teams then Brennan Dickenson should play up-front.

I did think that when we signed Aaron Morris, Josh Pritchard, Doug Loft, Jermaine McGlashan and Brennan Dickenson in the summer and with Jake Hessenthaler and Bradley Dack signing long term contracts that Peter Taylor would play a 4.2.3.1 formation with McGlashan and Dickenson on both flanks, and I do think that Brennan Dickenson is better as a left winger, but Dickenson has never had a run of starts in the same position to show Justin Edinburgh what he can really do and Justin Edinburgh might well decide to give Brennan Dickenson a run of games between now and the rest of the season.

He has played wing, up front and then left back on Saturday. He has bags of pace and is really strong and I feel has looked a little off purely because he is constantly stop start in the side. FOM will be able to confirm this but when I have read reports about development games and the like it is Dickenson whose name seems to stand out the most. A good run in the side and he could be very useful. We need a good speedy left winger to mirror McGlashan on the other flank but the diamond 4 in midfield won't allow for it.

I think the best way to incorporate wingers is with a 5 man midfield, this could be achieved with either 3 at the back and 2 up front, or 4 at the back with only 1 striker. Both of these formations have proofed successful with the right personnel.
