Leon Legge has signed for Cambridge Utd in League 2.I was expecting one of the expected top Teams in League 2 to sign him like Crawley,Portsmouth,Luton.I think Cambridge have got a solid signing, who will do a great job for them.

I think he started to show the sort of form that he showed in League 2 at the end of the season. If he carries on with that he will be a top player in that division, probably outscore Flint as well!!

Just a bit of fun ? - I accept that this is the way football works but try telling the players concerned its "just a bit of fun"

I'm sure that, like most folk, they have mortgages/rent to pay and they find themselves out of work. Certainly not my idea of fun.

I`m sure me guessing where these players will go,will cause them no harm.I`m sure they will all get Clubs easily.Would a player really get offended by fans predicting where they will go?

It must be a worrying time for thousands of footballers but guessing where they might go won't alter anything and isn't too far off your little competition I think Steve really.

Watch out for Cambridge United, I think Cambridge United will use some of the money they got from The Manchester United Match to add depth and quality to there squad next season and push for a playoff spot during the 2015 / 2016 season.

If there signing players like Leon Legge less then two week's after he was released by Gillingham, then I will be very interested to see who else Richard Money sign's in the summer.

I have seen Where Will They Go Threads on various forums for over a decade, and I cannot remember anyone complaining about them, and with no matches to talk about on a Saturday Afternoon / Tuesday Evening then you need to be talking about transfer rumours / speculation, and which clubs players could potentially sign for to fill the void.

Most of the players released would have known for some-time that they are leaving, players can speak to other clubs in January if there are less then six month's remaining on there current contract, so they will have been planning for all eventualities in-case there isn't a contract offer on the table at the end of the season, it would be very foolish to not plan for the end of the season and expecting a contract offer to be offered to you at the end of the season, especially as Gillingham have changed manager's during the 2014 / 2015 season.

You may well be right but I remain to be convinced that it is fun. You will clearly know your contract is not being renewed but you don't know where/when your next one is which has to be of concern to a family - that was my point.
