The Gills start the campaign at home to Sheffield Utd before facing 3 consecutive trips in the space of 8 days to Plymouth (cup) and then Port Vale and Bradford......some serious miles being clocked up there for away fans! we travel to Swindon on Boxing Day and Millwall visit us on the last day of the season.
All fixtures can be seen here:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1957&p=8692#p8692. Remember these are updated after each game with a link to the match you discussed on this forum so that in future you can easily view what was written about a match in the past. Get thinking about how you think these results might pan out and look out for the Noircat form due out in the next few days.

I was hoping for Blackpool away, but as i`m away I will miss my first home game at the start of the season ever.Im pleased that the Millwall,Southend, and Colchester games are on a Saturday.Looking forward to ticking off Millwall away just before Christmas. Also good to finish the season at home to Millwall, and another big away attendance.

Is it ok to officially start to be nervous now?

NO! But it is a very tough start so yes after 3 games ha ha. Mind you a couple of wins and we will be claiming top spot by most of our fans! That said, there is little to play for at the start and some teams start slowly. For those who ended the season well (I believe us) it is more than possible to get a few wins against tough sides and then who knows!

When Gillingham played Sheffield United, Peterborough United and MK Dons in a row, at best I thought we would of got four points, but Gillingham win against all three of those sides with our best performance form those three results the 4-2 home win against MK Dons where Bradley Dack put in his best performance in a Gillingham Shirt to date so far.
Gills went to Bristol City twice and drew 1-1 and 0-0, and Gillingham were 2-0 down at Deepdale and we drew with Preston North End 2-2, thanks to Leon Legge's last gasp equaliser.
Gillingham play better against better opposition, but when we're expected to win, or when we have a Kids For A Quid Home Game, Gillingham don't turn up and we drew / lose games we're expected to win.
But there are some terrible away fixtures for The 2015 / 2016 season, Bradford City, Rochdale and Fleetwood Town all on a Tuesday Night and I didn't want to start the season at home - I wanted Blackpool or Fleetwood Town away on the opening day of the season.
