Thinking of sending for the "new shirt", anyone bought one, are they "wearable" this year? Thanks

I have the red shirt and I love it. It goes well with white, cream or light brown short and also with the blue shorts from my Gills training kit (Not that I do any training)

I am a bit of a traitor. I love the idea of the red shirt but it doesn't seem to suit me, it is a bit bold so I opted for the "away" kit. Being blue it will always be current as centenary shirt and it still has the same insignia on it. Not quite the same but more seems to go with it, brilliant shirt.

I do not really like the new shirt even putting aside the debate about it being red. It appears to be of a poorer quality to more previous recent kits and the front of the collar is irritating.
On the colour issue I tend to resort to wearing the blue away kit instead.

One particular like though about the home red kit is the centenary imprinted badge on the back of the shirt, which is not so evident on the blue with the black printing.

Nope. I really don't like it. It looks cheap and tacky and the 'badge' on the rear just looks like a dirty mark from a distance.

I was not a fan at first as my thought was Gillingham always play in blue, but as its only for one season and its a centenary Kit it has grown on me.I wonder if the red kit is anything to do with our great winning run? They say Teams that play in red are more successful ;) .

It really hasn't endeared itself to me, I hate the red.

I actually quite like it and find it more comfortable to wear than the shirts with the tight necks. I also have bought the away kit 'cos as an ex Spurs fanatic I could never wear a red shirt!

To be honest I really am not a fan of either the home or the away shirt - I understand the point of the centenary shirt and its a nice touch but its not a patch on the 99/00 shirt - loved it....
