Pre-season friendlies

Postby Garawa » Tue Jul 05, 2016 11:00 am

We normally have a glut of friendlies arranged and at least a couple at home. The dates we normally have home ones for we have away and have none arranged at home at all yet and only 5 or 6 in total. It's not normally this quiet is it?!

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,what eh oh, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Guess the FA has told Scally to hold off on the big announcements of the players we have bought in and the pre season fixtures until the Euros are over, they don't want Gillingham FC stealing any of FIFA's thunder and lightning show.

I read somewhere that we have had work done to the pitch, which means no friendlies at home.Even so the list quite small.

This Season's Pre-Season is really disappointing, Braintree Town, Billericay Town, Barnet, Dartford and Leyton Orient, I am surprised that there are so few pre-season friendlies, and there is only one pre-season game against Local Kent Non League Opposition as well.

Miss Fanny Mulligan will be pleased , she has not been to half of these grounds, another two or three crossed off her bucket list, and it will help her get over the disappointment of missing Gillnghams home game last year, thats Gillingham Town Football Club.
