Another newbie; Joe Quigley thinks he's a great signing for us. Another player with premier experience; anyone know anymore about him?

High little buddie, how's Mrs. L, well I hope. ??
With regards to Mr Bailey Cargil he is 21 years old and has not really set B'nmth on fire , in fact it appears he really has done nothing in the first team . He did play against Minnesota in a game while B'nmth were in the USA, which is kind of odd because Minnesota is a State , so bit like saying he played against Kent, don't understand that at all ??
He had a couple of games for Welling, Torquay , (your pick in the Cadbury ) and Coventry, signed at B'nmth in 2013 and he is on there books till the end of 2018 .
Seems to be fairly decent with his head, plays CB or LB, seems pretty good in the tackle ,think this division will be better for him than where he is now, playing in the reserves at B'nmth in front of 27 people.
Hope he comes in and plays great and B'nmth let him come here permanently. GO GILLS.

Really don't know anything about him but others outside the club seem to be think he is decent.

More surprised Dack stayed....like a whole new signing provided he gets back to his best as lately he has looked well off the pace.

You would look "off the pace " if you thought back in late May you would have been lining up to play for Southampton or Burnley against Manchester United or Liverpool at the start of this season and instead your still here playing for Gillingham.

Of all the reasons for him being so (returning from injury, distracted by speculation, fed up by fans comments etc) this one would concern me most because if he was to be genuinely annoyed at still being here then I'd rather he'd have gone and we pocketed a large sum of money by him doing it! Personally I don't see how we've staved off 3 windows now, some decent offers and he's still here. The ONLY explanation is that he wants to stay here and perhaps all the talk of going to here there and everywhere was putting him off. I hope so, now he can carry on with his work without distraction!

By the way, on Tuesday the talk at the club was that they expected a bid to come for him and he looked certain to go so for me, that has to be about the player wanting to stay doesn't it? After all he was very quick to sign a long contract with little negotiation a year or two ago.

Let's hope you're right Gary; a rejuvenated Dack will really help the others find their best form and see us shooting up the table.
