Hi,

Can somebody enlighten me on a Gills result? I went to a home match against Walsall and Gillingham scored about 4 goals in 15 mins, maybe the final result was 5-0, it was a cracking match. I think the year may have been anywhere from 1985-1988. Does anyone perhaps remember the season and the final result? Sorry, a long time ago I know.

I'm not sure if this will help,

09th November 1985 Gillingham 5 Walsall 2, Hales x 2, Cascarino, Shearer, Robinson. crowd of 3339.

1st January 1987 Gillingham 4 Walsall 0, Pritchard x 3, Elsy, crowd of 3862.

Suspect that it will be the latter , as in this game all 4 goals were scored in a twelve minute period before half time .
