I feel twitchy over every home game we play, lol, don't feel happy about half the away games we have left, those last four or five games with us playing Burton at the very end makes me twitchy as well. lol.
OK time to take big breaths, breaths I said breaths, and leave the worrying to M.A. When did Malcolm Allison take over at GFC?

Thought I would jazz this up a bit so it is relevant after each game. The number in the colon before each team is league position with form from the last 6 games in brackets after the team name.

Thanks Gary. Deciphering the post certainly shook a bit of calcification from the old grey cells.
Port Vale should get a new Pope soon, and I hope the colon clears up. Where's those tablets?

Lol. I thought as so much emphasis is always put on league position I thought it interesting to include form but it does make it a bit....erm.....eye straining.

It's my one criticism of this site compared with the old. You cannot lay out text in a way that makes it more interesting and easy to read.

Thanks for all that Gary. It's something I usually do for myself. There are some definitely winnable home games. I just hope we don't need something from the final game to get promoted. Then again, if we do it would be exciting to be there. However it would be a shame not to win the league having been top for most of the season.

it's not Vale that really worries me in the race for the title it's Burton, and looking at their remaining schedule it really is not that tough, I see them ending up with 82 points or there abouts, one or two points behind DIVISION CHAMPIONS GILLINGHAM, with Vale and N'thton fighting it out for the last automatic promotion place.

Updated now to include all promotion rivals. Cheltenham hold the key in that 5 of their remaining fixtures are against sides in the top 7! Lose them and they are well out of but win them and a lot of points are lost elsewhere! As they have only won 3 of their 9 so far against the current top 8 sides, they might have some work to do!

Ha ha. For those nerdy people like me who like to know who is playing who and how the teams are doing, just to add to the tension!
