Honestly; I'm not sure we are ever going to win a game again! A much better performance tonight and we were fairly comfortable at one nil albeit Nelson had to make a good save from a one on one situation. Ten minutes only remaining and we continued to look a threat going forward so what do we do? Go completely defensive obviously; 10 men behind the ball, no one left up when we concede a corner, booting the ball aimlessly back to the opposition or lashing it straight into touch as Deje did just before the end when he could have kicked it a lot further up field. Panic obviously ensued and with no time remaining we inevitably give up the equaliser. Why did we change just because we had scored? I'm sorry to say but if that was APs instructions then it was naive and just wrong. We had that won and only have ourselves to blame. I also want to mention that although the attendance was rubbish, the atmosphere in the RE was so much better because we had something to cheer about for 70 mins so it was a bit of a kick in the teeth to give up a hard fought victory so tamely. Grrr!!

Of course it was AP instructions, the guy has never managed a "proper team ", all I can say is FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF**************************KKKKKKKK, two points from two home games against teams that can't hit their asses with either hand while picking their noses with the other, what a fffffffff***************************KKKKKKKK up Gillingham FC are . Now it's off to Coventry the worst team in the division, and I bet you a 100/1 we ffff**********************kkkkkkkk that up as well.

So annoying. I'd have rather we hadn't scored in the final minute against Port Vale and lost but conceded in this and won....we'd be a point better off. It would however make PV 1 point closer to us so in the grand scheme of things maybe it wasn't so good. I can't believe how it was the mirror image of the previous game in terms not only of the first goal and when the equaliser was scored but also how they were scored. 3 goals scored now in 4 home games but 2 in 4 away. 3 points at Coventry would turn the run positive with a win and 5 draws but a defeat would make it look like a long winless run of 4 defeats and 5 draws.
1 of 2 things are costing us and will cost come the end of the season. I don't think picking up points or scoring is an issue. For me it's not taking our chances to kill off games and dropping points against sides around us that will cost us, something we need to put an end to NOW before we get dragged into the mix when we have to play the sides on form in the division!

They scored only because we made the 2 late subs and the ref added time onto time. When we had a chance to attack and make it 2 Donnelly ran it into the blooming corner with 4 minutes still to play! Bonkers.
We should have been at least 4 up by then. Scored, hit the woodwork twice and missed a point blank chance in the 6 yard box!
