Adrian Pennock has launched a scathing attack on Academy Football by suggesting that Academy Football is too tippy tappy.

What are everyone's thoughts and opinions on this ???

He said a few weeks ago that it was impossible to bring some of these players in because many are earning around £20k a week! Top whack we won't have more that one or two on (approximately) £4k a week so we couldn't bring in players that are languishing in the 5th or 6th reserve side of a top team they have NO chance of challenging for a place in. That's why England won't ever win the World Cup if "success" is deemed to be an unknown nobody achieving nothing in a good side in a nothing competition. £20K?????? Shocking. And to think the FA's answer was to have more of them but in lower league football which appears to be a roaring failure judging by how badly they fared! In my book academies need to be smaller, paying no more than a quarter what they do now and with much greater chance of using the players on loan deals at lower league clubs but that won't be for all of them.
