Micheal Anderson

So vice-chair Micheal Anderson has resigned after a prosecution in the US has been brought against him for health-care fraud. It turns out he was removed from his post at Ipswich days after the chairman discovered he was at a senior level of two recently (at the time) failed clubs. Not sure why after so long none of us seemed to know anything about this! He is not in an executive position, had no shareholding in the club and none of this prosecution (which could see a lengthy jail term) affects the club as it involved a company he ran. That's what everyone says. What I wan't to know is, he invested £1m in the club. If US authorities find him guilty, could the club find itself requiring to pay back "proceeds of crime"???
"The club’s accounts could be frozen while the investigation ascertains whether any of the money from the alleged scam was invested into the club."
