Big win for the Gills.

Good old Gillingham ,great win today beating Hartlepool in extra time, a team that a couple of weeks ago lost 4-0 to Bromley, but did only lose 3-0 to Salford a few weeks back. Still it is The Cup ,so I guess anything can happen, GO GILLS.

This is Gillingham FC, as you well know Gillsfan. Personally I was surprised it didn't finish 4-4 with us losing on penalties. Not out of the woods yet, we've got the mighty Slough Town, currently half way up the National League South, in the next round. Don't start dreaming of Man Utd at home in the 3rd round just yet.

Feared the worst at 2-0.At 94 minutes I was expecting the whistle to blow,but luckily their time wasting meant an extra 2 minutes and a mistake by them giving away a penalty.Big pressure on Eaves to score,and he did.Fitness seemed the difference in extra time,but still nervy times at the end.Slough away next in the cup,and the struggle for tickets.
