Stoke release half a team including Sidibe , is he finished due to injuries or could we use him for a season up front ?

Not sure he's kicked a ball in anger for a couple of years so it sadly sounds as if he is finished.

Not only did he play 9 games on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, he had 10 on loan at Tranmere Rovers!! Wouldnt sign him though! Infact I wouldnt re-sign any gillingham player who has left the club!

Simeon Jackson has been released by Norwich. As for Mama; proved a lot of people wrong by becoming a big favourite at Stoke and a first team regular before he was attacked. I'd sign him just to wind Burham up!

I would bring Jackson back in a New York Minute, I think a drop to Division One and the chance to bang home goals against a lesser opposition than he has had playing for Norwich is exactly what he needs, Mr scally get off that camel and GO get Simeon today.

19 games in what 3 years isn't great though is it and he was so here so much longer ago. Unfortunately his time came and went. The other names are much more current possibly Premier League level so would have to put them in a different category.

I think Simeon would do an amazing job for us in Div 1. No he has not played much for Norwich, he is a confidence striker though, give him games he will score.

If I had a choice of Simeon or Cody I would take Simeon every day of the week. I just do not think we can afford his wages.

Will back any player we sign tbh.

Mark don't quite get the mentality of not signing any ex gill's player, we have done it a couple of times and it has worked out well. Jackman and Southall both did well for us on there returns. I would take Jarvis and Jackson back in a flash, together with Bertrand and Crofts.

Can I enquire exactly what skills Sidibe would bring to GFC ?

I think you will need to ask Mr Pulis as he seemed to rate him and play him regularly before he was attacked playing for his country.

Think Sidibe was the big hard working target who took defenders with him allowing others to score. Would love to see someone like him up front at the Gills next season. I imagine he was a good team mate as well, always seemed happy.
