So what do we make of the new signings today then? It seems like at last we have an attacking threat that should produce more goals to go alongside a more solid looking defence. does this mean our excellent start will not dwindle away as it has in the past? It definitely feels like there is more to be excited about than there has been in recent seasons! UTGs!!

We dump a couple in Nolan and Gbode, bought in another old age pensioner who scores a goal every ten outings , he should be good for 5 or 6 goals this season. The winger Smith looks good and he scores on average one goal every seven games. so he should be good for 8 or 9 goals. Akomeah looks good ,came through the Chelsea school so I expect good things from him. I just worry where we are going to find the 60 goals that we need to get into the playoffs ( if we don't win promotion on points) . All in all pretty good signings and if were still near the top come January there is a new signing period so ????????
