I will be going to the game on Saturday,my first game since Crawley and my first home game since Colchester at home.I feel a lot more confident than I did before the Crewe game.I think a draw would be a good result though as MK Dons play good football, and will be in the top 6 come the end of the season.I would like us to keep the same Team as last week after the great result at Crewe.

Ex Gills loanee Tom Flanagan is set to play against us on Saturday,as Antony Kay is out injured.

As long as Izale McLeod doesn't play, I don't care who they field!!!!!!!! Mind you, Joe Martin might fancy another free kick against his brother!!

Think the Gills will come away with a point, MKD's not a great away team, real test today to see if MA has got the team in the rite gear, feel he was trying to pull away in second and we stuttered and jumped around, now he is back in first and lets press the peddle to the metal and climb the table.
Me I am off to play golf , going to bee 75 today, but will be watching the ESPN "scrolls" between shots. GO GILLS.

Not sure I want to go down a gear. I'd prefer to be in 6th!

Danny Kedwell fulfilled his wish to score against the team he hates!

What a game, could/should easily have been 7-5 without much argument!

[For Gillsfan] The 2 pens were clear cut and deserved and at 2-0 up and a man up after only 13 minutes it looked easy but the tug on Bamford at 2-0 should have been a pen also. Then Lee had a header under no threat that the keeper tipped over when all he had to do was nod it either side and Gregory with a totally empty goal and the keeper lying on the ground somehow put the ball wide. Dons went for broke after only 23 minutes leaving 3 at the back and bringing on their second sub already, this time it was Izale McLeod's turn (who loves scoring against us). Once Dons scored you just knew they would get another and their equaliser was only 4 minutes away.

In the second half we passed the ball better finally realising we might need to wear them out a bit. Nelson saved at point blank range from Bamford and then somehow stretched along the ground to tip away from the feet of their attacker having been rounded by them. Weston wasted a simple chance for him by collecting the ball on the left of the box, taking it past the keeper and then blazing over the empty goal with his favoured foot. Gills started to push and cause lots of chances which led to the winner but strangely didn't trouble the keeper in the last 15 minutes who injured himself off the ball. With all subs made ages ago had he gone off they would have been down to 9 and with a makeshift keeper. Although he was routed to the spot and couldn't move, he lasted the game without us troubling him.

I'll take 3-2, it didn't tell half the story, but 2 wins a row is what counts more than anything. Later next week the highlights will go on You Tube - you will want to watch it (unless you subscribe to Gills Player then you'll get the whole game on Monday)! Don't want many matches like that!

And by the way, we shot towards the Rainham end in the first half. In the Martin Allen era that's 7 wins out of 8 from first half attacks and 7 wins from 24 in the second half!!!!!!!!!

Thanks buddy, great win for the Gills, that's what I wanted to shoot today a 7-5, but it turned out to be an 81, oh well can't win them all ,but at least I picked up a few bucks at the end of the day thanks to a guy putting one in the water on the 10th and going OB on the 14th.
Things looking good , I can see us picking up 6 or 7 points from the next three games and that will leave us sitting around 12th by the end of October.
Hope we have a good cup run and draw a big name to put some money in the piggy bank then we can bring in some extra on loan players over the Christmas period, and maybe pick up the players we need in January.
Thanks for the play by play , good win for the Mighty Big Blue Machine.

For any neutral they would have certainly have got their moneys worth today,It was an entertaining game.I thought we started really well at a high tempo, which is what we needed as we did the same at Crewe last week.Cody got brought down on 11 minutes by Flanagan which was a penalty.Kedwell scored the penalty,it was deja vu as two minutes later Flanagan brought down Cody again.Flanagan was sent off,and Kedwell stepped up and scored his second penalty in two minutes. To MK Dons credit they didn`t let the one man disadvantage affect them, and they brought on Alan Smith and Izale McLeod who helped them back in it.The impressive Bamford pulled one back for MK,and 4 minutes later he got the equaliser, from the live play there did look a touch off offside in the build up? Lee did have a good chance to give us the lead when his header went straight at their keeper. It did feel frustrating to go in at half-time at 2-2 as we started really well, but credit to them for not letting it affect them.

In the second half we started well like the first half, and we took the lead when Hollands headed in at the post.MK still looked dangerous and they passed the ball around really well.Their keeper went down with a leg injury, but they had used all of their subs so had to stick with him.He was hobbling, and the frustrating thing was we never tested him at all after.any shot in the corner would have probably have beaten him.

I was relieved when the whistle went, and really pleased we managed to get all three points, but we made it really hard for ourselves and never made the advantage count enough of the sending off,and the injury to their keeper. Two wins in a row now and things are starting to look up for us.

I don't think I've ever been to such a bizarre game! As you say, KFG, a great one for the neutral.

Forget to mention the best bit! When Alan Smith came on, the Rainham Ends chant of "You're just a s**t Robbie Savage"!!! Classic.

I'll take bizarre if it gets us three points. I've seen quite enough games we deserved to win and somehow didn't so when the roll of the dice is with us i'm a happy fan.

Absolutely, especially when we looked so much in control the likes of which we had not seen for years and yet still appeared to be ready to lose against the odds! After 20 minutes it was Real Madrid vs Primary school under-8s but it quickly changed!
