A very welcome 3 points but cold comfort in the match stats at home to a poor side.41%of possession, shots 3-10, corners amazingly 0 -9. How did we win this one ?

Thats because the first half can be written off as a total non-event!!! Absolutely nothing happened but parts of the second half went bonkers! Overall we deserved to win as Carlisle offered very little. We had a certain pen waved away late on and did just enough without really inspiring. I can't keep track of ingame stats but I was sure we had one or two corners, will check later.

I listened to the game, and from the kick off you could hear the strong winds. The first half did sound very scrappy, and I was thinking we was going to have our third straight 0-0 at home to Carlisle.Linganzi went off injured and Dack came on.Taylor made two more subs at Half-time and brought on Gregory, and McDonald for Lee on a booking, and Weston who`s name was hardly mentioned at all.It seemed all three subs had a positive affect on the game, and then our performance was better.Hollands was fouled for the penalty, which Kedwell unsurprisingly put away! Carlisle will probably feel hard done by as,Gillsplayer said they had a penalty turned down near Half-time after the ball hit Harriman`s arm.Out of nowhere Matt Cole shouted that Carlisle were down to ten men as Lee Miller had been sent off after an off the ball incident with Barrett, and they said no one saw it.Just like Crawley away the one man advantage didn`t last long as Legge was sent off for a second yellow, and I have read it could have been a red card for that challenge.

It was a nervy last 10+ minutes as Carlisle came at us,but I have read that they never looked like equalising even with the pressure they had.Gillsplayer said Kedwell went to centre back, and played really well there.Another goal for Kedwell aswell and that is 6 in 6 for him now,and he is our main goal threat at the moment. He could romp away with Player of the year the way he is playing.

Im looking forward to watching us against Brackley next week, should be an entertaining game.

Sheffield, Oldham, Stv'age and Roth'm to round out the month of November, maybe 5 out of a possible 12 points , and the start of a cup run? Hope Scally can see that it does not matter who manages GFC, the team is not good enough to compete in The First Division, I hope we have scouts out watching games and new players can be bought in at Christmas, if not then I am afraid we are in for a very long winter.
Still a win, is a win, is a win, how difficult it is to play catch-up at this end of the table, so much more fun at the other end.
Orient leading the pack, wasn't it only like 12 months ago we were beating them on their own ground, or was that in a cup match?
Good reports guys, thanks for the info.
