If we were playing better I would see this as a great path to the third round for a potential money spinner, but I fear we will get knocked out at Brackley.

I only saw the highlights but Macclesfield were very poor. They had clear chances to put at least 8 passed Swindon and only managed 4!!!!! Hugely impressive and should we win the replay I fear they would easily dump us out if they/we repeat the performances of the first round!
How was your trip home Mark?

Surely one of the TV companys would want the replay? Our game looks the best of the replays, and a huge chance of a cup shock.

Your rite ,been snapped up by the Comedy Chanel, going to fit it in between season 472 of Embarrassing TV Bloopers and season 83 of Morons On Roller Skates Jumping Chain Saw's . Then we get the chance to go to Maccelsfield and play in front of 1800 people, now there's pay day for us, man does it get any better than this ?

It does with a win and an away draw at Old Trafford in the 3rd round!
Not sure the TV companies bother much with replays in Round 1 and 2 do they?

When is the Cup replay and when is Scally going to make the decision to bring Hessy back as manager ? lol. Don't hold your breath for the Manchester United tie, the way our season is going we get a win in the replay with a late penalty, squeek past Mac'field , then get an away draw against Dover, lol .
Do not know how you guys manage to stay so calm there, I want to rip this dam computer to pieces and stuff it down someone at GFC's throat. I can not believe after such a fantastic season last year we have dropped like a lead balloon, I was really looking forward to this year, of course I had hoped for a run at the top 7 but would not have had a heart attack if we had missed it by th....at much, it would have been fun.
Instead here we are basically in the relegation zone with no " easy games" in the near future, at least we are in good company, there are a bunch of losers around us so we should be able to avoid relegation. I hope.
Whats the saying " Stay Calm and Carry On " lol.

But with the greatest respect you see the results and they look good. We were superb under Martin Allen when he hadn't figured the side out! We beat higher league opposition 4-0 in the FA Cup and had a run of 3 in 4 or so games when we scored 4 and by then we were top by quite a bit and looking uncatchable. Then the players started to adapt to the more direct style of play and the goals slowed down but we conceded less. From then on every win felt like it was achieved the ugly way, no real quality as such just with the side doing simply what was required. Honestly, the games weren't particularly great to watch but we got a trophy out of it, now that lack of creativity and using every player is starting to tell. We could have destroyed the league records with the way we were playing but ended up scraping over the line instead.
