A good signing I think - was playing Prem for Hull not long ago. Hopefully will bang lots of goals in right from the start!

VERY excited!!! A player I know about!!!! Woo hooooo!
Sad that Cody appears to have lost his opportunity and after we bust the bank on his salary. If that stays then it feels a bit like we are back to square one in terms of having players on high wages causing problems. I hope that the short loan spell helps Cody and he is back firing in the goals in the new year.

Just looked - he has made 70 appearances in the Prem. He is only 30 and has quite a few goals and lots of assists. This is quite exciting!

Very good indeed. I've advocated for a while about Kedwell dropping deeper and got funny comments about him being in midfield. He must surely being eyed up as a striker as Taylor turned him into one to give us that extra edge. We would look a lot more dangerous going forward and Kedwell would do well in the Rooney, Berbatov, Michu, Ozil et al role.

Has Cody gone out on loan ? Glad to see we have bought in a winger who can bang in a goal every now and again, maybe it would have been nice to see if he could play alongside Cody for a couple of games, may have taken some pressure of McDonald and allowed him to relax and get back to his scoring ways ? Lets see who else Scally brings in this week. Don't drop the ball now Scally, do what you KNOW needs to be done and lets consolidate our position in the division..

This could turn out to be a decent signing. The short Term deal is no risk, and if he does well we can extend the deal.Hopefully we will play Fagan on the wing.He has good experience and has played in the premier League.I have seen a few writing him off,but best to judge him in a Gills Shirt.

Well Gillsfan. You didn't have to wait long. Elliott Hewitt from Ipswich joined today.

Had lunch with a lifelong Leicester City STH yesterday. Not much repeatable about either Taylor or Fagin. He did say he thought PT was a good coach but a c**p manager. Let's hope he's half right.

The Artful Dodger was quite complimentary about Fagin!

We'd be better off picking winners than picking pockets...

Thing about Taylor is he seems to be able to work a" bit of magic" for a short time, and assuming he works his " bit of magic" at GFC from now till next Spring then I will be one very happy camper.
Have all these three signings played for Taylor before ? One forward, one midfielder and one defender, that's good stuff, hope the players they replace at Sheffield wake up and smell the roses, next stop for you boys is Folkstone FC and a hundy a week.
Question is Cody still with GFC, or is he out on loan?
Good test coming up Saturday, Sheffield are a good home team one win from being on par in the table with us, think a win for the good guys would be great, kind of think if we come away with appoint it will be OK.
Well done Scally for dipping into the old coffers, bet a few moths flew off those dirhams when they were pulled out of his wallet, lol.
