2 Live Gills matches

Postby Garawa » Fri Dec 20, 2013 1:33 pm

After the January 3rd tie at home to Wolves we only have to wait a couple of weeks before another gets broadcast on Sky Sports! The match chosen is the away trip to Brentford, clearly two VERY tough ties and we never cover ourselves in glory when on TV. Lets hope we can change that and give our exiles something to cheer in the gloomy post-Christmas days!!!!

Ha ha. I meant after the fun of Christmas when its dark and nobody has any money but you definitely win that one!! That would certainly brighten up a "cold" January day

An extra bit of money to help us in the January Transfer window.Sky seem to like us at the moment with two games in one month, hopefully we can play a lot better than Brackley!

Kentucky; all answers do not lie in the transfer market. Every season we hear the shout " buy some players", then we hear sign some more on loan, then in January it is "buy some players", two weeks later we get "they are playing like strangers". Well; the clues are there Sherlock. ;)

Well we had better do something between now and when the transfer window closes, because if we go with the team that started the first 8 games of the season we will be going into February with about 3 more points than we have today, and we will be back in the relegation zone. Tonight we are technically just outside the top ten, NUMBER 11, thank you Gods of football.
I think we need to use on loan players as much as possible, these guys are professionals, couple of training sessions and they jell.

As we don't do so well live on the tv, well that I have ever seen... I hope we can change that and get some valuable points in these 2 live games.

I can go back to the days of steam driven TV when Southern Television had some games on a Sunday which I believe were played the day before, GFC were probably on twice a year when we played Brighton or perhaps Aldershot or Southend and we always seemed to gag a maggot even then
Only seen GFC play live once in the last few years, against Stoke in the cup, and now this year Fox Soccer out of Canada has lost the rights to show any games other than FA Cup games, every other Premier game is on NBC Sport, and now we have a new station that sprung up yesterday morning with Forest and B'ham playing.
Any idea which station in the UK that game was on ?
