2008 Play off final

Does anyone know if the we sung the national anthem during the play-off final against Shrewsbury? I can't for the life of me remember! Went to the rememberance service at church where it was sung and wondered if at the age of 35 that was the first time I had sung it as part of anything specific!!!!

Ha ha cheersMark. Still think we are in 2011! Kezz it was sung during the rememberance service today and I couldn't for the life of me if I had ever done it before. Clearly I had at the playoff final!

Don´t remember singing it at either the Man City or Wigan playoff finals. Then again, I had quenched my thirst quite considerably on both occasions.

Funny, I distinctly remember the Leona Lewis version of Run playing with slow-mo clips of key Shrewsbury and Gills moments but cannot remember to bit before the game kicked off.

It was certainly played at the Man City final, sung by Russell Watson to a Gills reply of "Ooo are ya? Ooo are ya?"

If we did, it was probaly the only song that the fans around me knew, or sang! Still remember being irritated by the lack of passion shown, and the weird looks my son and I got as we cavorted around when Jackson scored! Much better atmosphere at the old Wembley for the other two, as I recall!!
