The Players will be travelling up to the game by Train,so that will be a more relaxing trip for them. Our record at Brunton Park is not great, and we have not won up there since 1993.It would be great to get a win up there, but I would take a draw if offered now.

Team? Hewitt is suspended,Harriman will replace him at RB.Fagan could go to RM,Linganzi could be ok to start,Barrett should return to the side.

Nelson
Harriman,Legge,Barrett,Martin
Gregory
Fagan,Linganzi,Dack
Akinfenwa,McDonald

Subs:Baxter,Davies,Hessenthaler,Smith,Lee,Weston,Pigott

I think I would prefer another defender filling in defence and leave Harriman in midfield where he had a massive impact against Port Vale, he can drop back if required. On the past 2 games Dack has to play every game now as he is virtually creating all the chances. It is vital we keep with a straight 4 in midfield to allow him to push up behind the front two. Cody needs to start taking more of his chances and as his form is getting better he should take more.

It is still all down to the defence whoever is there, we are conceding sloppy goal one after the other. Quite what the issue I don't know but until then we have no option but to outscore the opponents and Dack is the key.

(I Wonder what the weather is like up north, haven't heard anything about a pitch inspection so fingers crossed. Its a long way to go to find it called off! 3 weeks without a game won't be good either).

Its a tough one as Harriman has been really good playing on the right of Midfield, but with Hewitt suspended he is the natural replacement for him.Fagan could go to the right for this one game?

He could but we brought in Hessy and a couple of other youth players who have done well. I thought Butcher had a good couple of spells at right back earlier in the season so worth a go. We are conceding no matter what so attack is the key and I think Harriman has looked dangerous in that role (at home mind, need to do better away). I suppose it all depends on how dangerous their left side is.

I listened to the game on Gills player, and Carlisle could have scored in the first minute when Miller hit the side netting, they seemed to have the better of the first half, but we snatched a goal just before half-time through Pigott. The second half it did seem like Carlisle were putting us under a lot of pressure,Amoo was the player mentioned the most. They said Cody had a stonewall penalty turned down,so it would have been horrible for us had Drennan`s shot a few minutes late gone in,luckily it came back out off the inside of the post.We were hanging on a bit,but Cody grabbed the second goal which looked like it would ease our nerves at 2-0.A minute late Legge scored an own goal to give us fans the usual nervy finish.Carlisle came close in stoppage time when Byrne`s header was saved by Nelson. The whistle went and it was a decent win,our first win at Carlisle since 1993,and first goal we had scored at Brunton Park since 1997! I`m pleased for the 194 fans that travelled.

We have a break now,so its great that we can relax and go into the break knowing we have won. We`re on 38 points,so we need four wins and a couple of draws to stay up I reckon.

Another great win , scored 3 and won 2-1, how we did it at this stage of the season I don't care, lol.
What a strange season , a point in that first game against Colchester, 3 at home against Bristol City and a couple of away wins at Notts. C. and Stevenage and we would be a point or two from the being in the promotion race and the relegation zone would be in the rear view mirror, far, far away.
Well done the Gills and the fans that travelled to see the game, big win against a tired Sheffield team and then comes in my mind the tough part of the season.
