Hello, rumours circulating these parts that Bayo is coming back for a 3rd spell, to help save us from non league oblivion. Heard anything your end?

How much longer does he intend to play ? The 2014/15 season will see us in the First Division, the following 10 seasons we will be in the Championship Division, are you sure the rumor didn't say Akinfenwa going to Dartford?

I haven't heard anything personally but I expected him to move on after a season so it wouldn't be a great surprise. However I would imagine that would all be down to contracts and would he prefer to take a pay cut (I am guessing) to stay with us in League 1 rather than potentially dropping down to the Conference with you should it happen. I have to say I always thought he was a very good League 2 player and that this division was too much for him but I have been wrong! He has done very well in my opinion and I would be happy if he stayed.

If it is to save you from the drop then I would say definitely no. Kedwell doesn't seem much closer to being ready and Bayo has not only filled in well but has been great cover for our general lack of strikers. With loanees going back, we would be pretty much left with just Cody so we couldn't afford to lose another. Next season may already be "non-league" oblivion without improved results.

I suppose some people just love a certain place - Martin Allen back at Barnet for the 4th time so perhaps this isn't so odd but I would question his motive for yet another spell there. I hope you stay up but the bottom 5 of League 2 is incredibly scary and we are going to lose two solid Football League teams this season it seems. Amazing.

According to this link,we turned down a loan offer from Northampton for Bayo.I`m not surprised as Bayo has been very good in recent months, and we`re still not officially safe yet.I think we will look to offer Bayo a new deal in the summer.
