Our last away game of the season is Saturday,as we travel to Preston North End.Preston have secured their Playoff place and come into this game with a big win, after they beat Shrewsbury 5-2 on Easter Monday. We`re all but safe, and could stay up without securing another point I should think.I can only see a Preston win,so luckily we`re not under pressure to win.
What Team, and Formation would you play for the trip to Preston?

Without wishing to complicate it to much I think if I was the PNE manager I would want to play Orient in the first round, they with the exception of the good old Gillinghams match seem to be the weakest team in the top 4 at the present time. First round of the playoffs is 3rd plays 6th and 4th plays 5th an I rite??
I guess this means they have got to play a strong team this weekend to ensure they keep that 4th spot, so my feeling is we give some of the youngsters a run out in the second half, especially if were down by a couple on the 45 minute mark.
Do not think we need any more points to stay up, but we don't need a key player picking up a knock or a red card that could keep him out of the Shrews game, just in case.

Kedwell will not travel,as Taylor does not want to risk his knee after it was swollen last week.Taylor hopes to play him against Shrewsbury.Young Striker Aaron Millbank will travel with the squad.

Not only that Gillsfan but I believe the top 2 get the home leg second which is always a huge benefit. This game could go either way really. Maybe we will be keen to try and grab that point that we sneak a win? They haven't lost at home in 9 so are about to lose one of those games to a lower side right at the end of the season! After all, we can't be the only side that does that can we?

I listened on Gillsplayer and it did sound like 3-1 flattered us a bit. They had a few good chances to double their lead, but luckily never took them. With Cody on the pitch you always have a chance, and he equalised just before Half-Time.Preston did sound the better Team in the second half, and they do score a lot of goals in the second half.I predicted a 3-1 defeat, and luckily it did not matter what we did in our game with results going our way.We can enjoy the last game next week against Shrewsbury, and hopefully we can get a good win against an already relegated side.I`m sure Taylor will give a few game time, and maybe a youngster or two.
