No luckily Sterling`s red card will not count for the World Cup,but he is likely to miss Saturdays match against Honduras.

I believe only two games were scheduled to be played at 1 or 2am British time - England v Italy and Ivory Coast v Japan (both Saturday 14th games in Brazil). The England game was then brought forward to 11pm which, considering match times are 5pm, 8pm and 11pm on the other days and there was no 11pm game that day, it should have been the case from the start.
What doesn't make sense is that that is the only day when there are 4 games - Colombia v Greece at 5 UK time, Uruguay v Costa Rica at 8, then England and the Ivory Coast game at 2. Had they not moved the time there would have been 2 games that clashed (unless they swopped them over) and that only happens with the last games in each group so I can't work out what the original issue was!

Timings are to ensure FIFA officials can get round to collect their brown envelopes from everyone.
