If the decision to sack Nigel Adkins is not the most pernicious, racist stupid sacking for many a year i don't know what is!

Don't know about the racist part, but I will be watching Monday afternoon to see what happens. Southampton 3 points away from the relegation zone, but I guess if it was my millions that had been put into the club I would not exactly be happy about where we were in the table.
Still, think the "Don't Panic Mr Mainwaring," line may apply to the owner? Someone should remind him of what happened to Blackburn when they were in the same position, and look at them now.

What on Earth do these clubs think they are doing? I thought Fleetwood's sacking was bonkers but this takes the biscuit. It seems now that winning games and being higher than most people felt was possible is also a sackable offence. Given that we haven't won a home game in a while should Martin Allen be sacked? In fact shouldn't any manager who hasn't won a trophy this season be sacked...........hang on, they sack those as well don't they!

All of the overseas owners sem to think that you need an overseas (even unproven) manager to get success. The man contrevenes all the new immigration rules. Can't speak the language, necessary skill etc!

Seems it does not matter who manages Southampton, same old same old, seven games five draws . Don't know if I wanted to see them go down 0-10, think I felt sorry for the new manager after seeing him speak befor the game, talk about an akward position to be in.
