Posted: Tue Sep 10, 2013 8:12 pmI remember a game at Priestfield in the 1980's..The referee blew for a free kick on half way, just as a gills player hit the ball forward, which flew straight in the top corner! A fan on the Gordon Road terrace overcome with excitement and not hearing the whistle ran on the pitch only to be chased by two coppers and dragged off the pitch!! Funny as ....
