Saturday 24th
The 1st half of the season saw Walsall score 43 in their first 23 games (6 more than the next best side) which dropped to 32 in the final 23.MK Dons were 4th for goals scored after 23 games. Swindon were top scorers with 43 in the 2nd half of 24/25 after just 28 in the 1st 23.
Wimbledon had the leanest defence in League 2 with the joint fewest (19) conceded in the first 23 games of the season and an even better one (16) in the final 23 games. Salford had the joint best defence in the first half the season but conceded 35 in the final games.
Sunday 25th
Wimbledon and Colchester kept clean sheets in almost half (21) of their league matches. Relegated Morecambe managed just 7. 13 of Wimbledon's 23 home league matches saw their opponents fail to score.
Champions Doncaster scored in 39 of their 46 league games and only had 2 blank sheets in their 23 home games. Relegated Morecambe suffered 21 league blank sheets whilst MK Dons suffered the most home blank sheets (10 out of 23).
Monday 26th
The top 10 sides in League 2 for first half goals scored managed at least 28 goals before half time, equal to or more than double the 14 scored by the Gills. Wimbledon (14th) scored 12 more than they conceded and, despite a -1 goal difference, 61.5% of Newport's goals came in the first half.
Walsall scored a whopping 52 second half goals, 11 more than the Gills managed in total, and they accounted for almost 70% of all their goals. Newport were bottom with 20 goals scored after the break - the fewest proportion of all goals (38.5%) and the worst goal difference (-23).
Tuesday 27th
AFC Wimbledon conceded just 13 first half goals - 6 fewer than the next best side. Swindon let in 34, 54.0% of all goals conceded and only the Gills (54.3%) and Crewe (56.3%) had higher proportions of their goals conceded coming before half time.
With Crewe and the Gills conceding the biggest proportion of goals conceded before half time, they top the table for fewest second half goals conceded - both letting in 21. Despite conceding 8 more goals, Walsall had the best second half goal difference with +23).

Champions Doncaster led a whopping 38 times in their 46 matches with 18 coming at home. They led 20 more times than they found themselves behind. Despite leading on 5 fewer occasions than Rovers, Bradford led the most at home with 22 leads in their 23 games.
Doncaster (1st) and Wimbledon (5th) both found themselves behind the fewest times - 18 times in their 46 matches. Bradford were behind the fewest number of times at home, just 5 times in 23 games. Despite finishing 12th, Swindon went behind 34 times - 3 behind worst side Morecambe with 37 deficits in 46 games.
