Saturday 31st
On average, for each lead taken, AFC Wimbledon remained in front for 49.9 minutes - the longest period of time in League 2. This was boosted by being in front for longest at home, an average of 53.1 minutes per lead. Cheltenham only remained ahead for 19.9 minutes at home and 24.5 home and away.
Despite winning League 2, when Doncaster fell behind, they stayed behind by 52.2 minutes on average. Fleetwood recovered quickest by cancelling a lead (or a late deficit when the game ended) after just 28.5 minutes. Bradford were behind the shortest at home - 24.6 minutes.

Sunday 1st
Bradford and Bromley both scored the first goal in 16 of their 23 home League 2 matches. Bradford won 15 (93.8%) of those 16, more wins than 20 sides managed to score first in! The Gills scored first in 15, winning 66.7% and were 1 of 2 sides to have seen all home leads being the first goal.
Doncaster scored first in 29 of their 46 League 2 matches and their 24 wins after scoring first was 3 more than next best side Port Vale whose 87.5% win percentage from all home and away games they scored first in was also the best record in the division.

Monday 2nd
At home, Bradford conceded the first goal just 5 times in their 23 matches and they accounted for all 5 of the times they found themselves behind. The Gills conceded the opener 6 times. Cheltenham conceded the most (13) but recovered the most points (15) after winning 4 and drawing 3.
Walsall, Wimbledon and Doncaster conceded the fewest number of opening goals (16). Walsall recovered to win 3, Wimbledon 1 and Rovers did not win any. Morecambe conceded the first goal 29 times out of 46 and recovered to win 0 whilst Cheltenham recovered to win 20.8% of theirs.

Tuesday 3rd
Hardest to beat in League 2 after conceding the opening goal were Walsall (16 deficits), Colchester (20 deficits) and Swindon (24 deficits) who all lost only half the games they conceded first in. Morecambe lost all bar 1 of the 29 matches they conceded first in.
Port Vale were the only side in League 2 not to have lost a game after scoring the opening goal. When scoring first, Carlisle and Newport lost the most games in the division (5 each).

Wednesday 4th
The Gills were 1 of just 4 sides in League 2 to win all home games they led at half time, however just 3 of the 23 matches at Priestfield saw the Gills lead at the break. 16th placed Barrow were joint 2nd with 11 leads but won just 54.5% whilst Bradford led 15 times and won them all.
Home and away, the Gills led at half time in just 7 of the 46 games whilst champions Doncaster were ahead in 21 (from which they won 18, more than the half time leads of 22 teams). Crewe and Swindon won the greatest proportion of games after leading at the break, both winning 8 of the 9 (88.9%).

Thursday 5th
Bradford were the only side in League 2 not to have found themselves losing at half time in a home league match. Relegated Carlisle and Morecambe both found themselves behind at the break the most - 8 of their 23 matches. Both Swindon and Cheltenham recovered the most home points (7).
In all 46 home and away games in League 2, AFC Wimbledon were losing at half time the fewest - just 6 matches. Relegated Carlisle and Morecambe were losing the most (17 games). Just 20 of the 552 league games saw a side losing at the break go on to win and Cheltenham accounted for 3 of them.

Friday 6th
Port Vale and Wimbledon lost the fewest number of games (5) after losing at half time in the 46 home and away games. Colchester (7 defeats) and Swindon (8) both only lost 50% of the games they were losing. Carlisle and Morecambe lost 16 of their 17 deficits (94.1%).
The Gills were 1 of 10 sides in League 2 to avoid losing after leading at half time with AFC Wimbledon, MK Dons and Port Vale doing so from the most leads (14). 20 of the 552 games were lost from a half time lead 6 sides losing 2 each including Cheltenham who did so from 10 leads.
