Saturday 7th
Unsurprisingly, Champions Doncaster led the way with the most shots on target in League 2 (216) and 110 of them came in the final 23 games of the season. MK Dons suffered the biggest drop having taken 114 shots on target in the first 23 games of the season but only 59 in the second 23.
Wimbledon faced the fewest shots on target in League 2, conceding 126 and just 55 in the second half of the season. Carlisle's 129 in the second half of their season was more than Wimbledon's total over 46 games and contributed to a league-high of 236.
Sunday 8th
The most shots on target in League 2 saw Chesterfield manage 15 against Carlisle. The next largest amount was 13 by Salford City in the game against Morecambe. The most the Gills managed was 8 (2 games) and the most they faced was 7 (2 games).
Despite having the 2nd fewest shots on target, the Gills only failed to take at least 1 in 1 of their 46 matches. They prevented their opponents doing so in 4 games with only Accrington (5) managing more. Crewe failed to register a shot 6 times and saw their opponents manage at least 1 in every match. Harrogate were the only side to see both themselves and their opponents take at least 1 shot on target in every match.

Doncaster had a whopping 663 attempts at goal (on target, off target and blocked) in their 46 games thanks partly to the 216 on target - 76 more on target than they had faced. Newport faced 97 more shots on target than they took themselves and had the fewest shots (406) overall.
Doncaster had the most shots off target/blocked in a League 2 game with 25 and only 2 sides (Accrington and Bromley) did not have any in the match. For all attempts at goal, Chesterfield had a huge 38 in one match with 2 (Barrow, Bromley and Doncaster) being the fewest.
Tuesday 10th
MK Dons were the League 2 side most accurate with their shooting - 36.2% of all of their attempts at goal being on target. The Gills were the most wayward with only 142 (28.2%) of their shots being on target.
Swindon were the League 2 side most capable with their shooting, successfully converting 71 shots on target (41.8% of all of their shots). The Gills converted 28.9% and saw their opponents also convert 28.9% of theirs. Tranmere converted the fewest shots (25.3%).
Notts County's defence restricted their opponents to having the lowest conversion rate in League 2 - just 49 of their opposition shots on target were scored. Accrington's opponents found it easiest to score - successfully converting 46.6% of their shots on target.

Walsall won the most corners in League 2 with 286 - an average of 6.2 for each of the 46 regular league matches. Newport won the fewest (150) with just 62 coming in their first 23 games. Swindon saw a big 2nd half the season jump - 137 up from 101.
The Gills gave away the fewest corners in League 2 with 168. As well winning the fewest (150), Newport also conceded the most. They gave away 306 with 161 coming in the 23 games in the 2nd half of the season, just 7 fewer than the Gills' total in 46 games.

Chesterfield were the side to have won the most number of corners in a League 2 match (17) and, alongside Fleetwood, also had the second highest amount with 16 in a game. Colchester were the side to have faced the 17.
