The Gills failure to score v Grimsby stopped it being 14 consecutive away league games scoring in, a run last occurring almost 26 years. 15 in all away league and cup games would have set a new club record in the EFL era, the most since the 1949/50 Southern League season
Monday 20th
Against Cheltenham, Bradley Dack and Lenni Cirino both came on as late subs. Cirino made 2 sub appearances totalling just 16 minutes and saw the Gills score in each one. It was also Dack's second sub appearance, this time totalling just 14 minutes, and the Gills also scored in both of them.
Tuesday 21st
It is now 19 away games played in the month of October from 2020 to this season with only 1 win occurring from them (following 6 in August and 5 in September over the same period). 14 of the 19 October away games over these 6 seasons so far have ended in defeat.
