Wednesday 18th
The Chesterfield loss made it 3 successive away defeats in the league for the first time since the culmination of the 2023/4 season. Those 3 consecutive defeats were the first in one and half seasons after there were 5 runs of 3 away defeats in the 3 seasons prior.

The previous 15 seasons had only seen 2, 2, 3, 5, 5, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2, 1, 3 and 2 away defeats by a 0-1 scoreline in both league and cup games. They last lost 3 in a row away by a 0-1 scoreline in the 1932/33 season.
