Saturday 4th
The Gills draw at Walsall avoided it being 6 consecutive defeats in all competitions for the first time since December 2021. In only league games, 6 consecutive league losses last occurred back in October 2004.

Sunday 5th
Glenn Morris won 2 fouls in the game against Walsall and he also won 3 in the home game against them meaning that 5 of the 9 fouls he has won this season have been by the Saddlers. Jake Turner has won 7 making it 16 fouls won by goalkeepers compared with 9 last season and just 5 the season before.

Monday 6th

Tuesday 7th
The home game against Accrington saw 2 red cards issued for the Gills opponents. It was the first time since Leyton Orient (cup) suffered 2 red cards in a game, also at Priestfield, back in September 2023. 2 red cards in the league last occurred at Shrewsbury in August 2021.

Wednesday 8th
The 2 red cards in the Accrington game came after no league or cup games for the Gills this season had seen their opponents see red and only 3 were issued last season. They were the first red cards for an opponent after 62 games without one and only 1 in 80 games.

Thursday 9th
Ronan Hale has only failed to manage any attempts at goal in 1 of the 15 games he has played for the Gills. He has managed 42 in those games and only Bradley Dack (61) and Josh Andrews (56) have managed more, albeit each from 37 games featured.

Friday 10th
Walsall's opening goal made it an 8th consecutive goal conceded by the Gills on the road and without any goals in reply for the Gills. The most consecutive away goals conceded last season was 5, bookended by a Grimsby own goal and McKenzie's goal at Walsall 14 days later.
