After 22 minutes of the match at Cheltenham, the Gills surpassed their previous longest run of minutes in the league this season without conceding a goal. It was 224 minutes back in August after clean sheets against Crewe and Oldham and a 34 minutes either side of them. Cheltenham's goal ended that run of 266 minutes without a goal conceded.
Monday 20th

The Grimsby defeat was the 6th out of the 20 losses this season to have been by 3 or more goals. It is the most since the 2018/19 season when they lost 7 by 3 or more goals en route to finishing 13th. There have been 19 league and cup defeats by more than 3 goals in the 6 seasons in-between.
Thursday 23rd
The 1-4 home loss to Grimsby was only their 25th defeat at Priestfield by that scoreline in their history but it was their second 1-4 home loss in 77 days. Since there were 2 results by that score in 2018/19, there had only been 1 more in the 6 seasons after with a further 3 coming away from home.
Friday 24th
Within the last 12 months, the Gills have found themselves leading 1-0 at half time away from home in 3 games and lost all 3 by a 1-2 scoreline. The away game at Cheltenham followed losses at Fleetwood in December and Colchester in October. The Gills haven't won after leading 1-0 at the break away from home in 7 attempts since their last victory - Notts County in September 2024.
