Sunday 30th the day that players with ending contracts become available, I hope by early next week we will see two or three 12 goals a season players on the Gills books, without them we will still be playing in this damn division for ever.

Recent signings appear to have a good track record at this level and I would like to be the optimist and say we are moving in the right direction.
I note your comments 1066 but the player listing is that of last season

I agree Cadbury.
During the Noircat presentation evening Joe said that we were targeting 4 key players with good "take-it-or-leave-it" contracts and judging by how quickly 4 players signed for us, I guess those contracts were successful. The rest now depends on either how much the players made available free up funds or how much Brad is willing to take a financial hit for if they are still with us come the start of the season. Joe said on social media recently that there will now be a pause before we see much more so I guess it will be when those players you suggest Gillsfan become available.
As for the goalscoring players, the ones we signed look like those players but then Dieng, Lapslie, Hawkins etc all came with similar credentials without replicating that with us (but then they can't all score at the same time and these new signings do appear to have had a greater impact at their clubs this season).
Elliott Nevitt - helped Crewe reach play off final
50 apps - 18 goals (2 assists)
Aaron Rowe - Huddersfield but helped Crewe reach play off final
55 apps - 5 goals (5 assists)
Armani Little - AFC Wimbledon
42 apps - 4 goals (6 assists)
Jack Nolan - Accrington Stanley
48 apps - 17 goals (10 assists)
Nolan and Nevitt scored 35 goals between them, only 23 fewer than the entire Gills squad last season. Including assists, that total is 11 fewer and Nolan scored his goals from the wing in League 1! Much is expected of a fully fit Andrews at this level and with Nevitt scoring plenty up front and also Nolan from the wing, it will be interesting to see who has to step back to allow others to score or if they will share responsibility and all hit lower double figures.
